The plug-in-type separable connector, also known as GIS terminal, features a plug-in structure and is suitable for power systems up to 70.5kV, for example, power supply GIS between wind turbines, or wind turbine and substation/ connection stations, transformers, HV motors, generators, ring main units and box-type transformers. This product is manufactured with the cutting-edge injection insulation process, with its electrical performance leading the world, making it safer and more reliable to use. It can be installed even in harsh environments, and is contamination-proof, maintenance-free, of high partial discharge level, and in compact size, fully meeting the requirements for small installation space, making it a world-leading prefabricated cable terminal.

Scope of Use: It is applicable to cables rated 38/66kV, with external insulation contamination of Class E, cable XLPE or (EPR) insulation, with nominal cross-section of conductor ranging 50~1,600mm².

l The terminal is of dry structure, in compact size, dry section, no need to fill insulating oil or gas inside.
l The terminal is of an integrated compression structure consisting of tail pipe and spring. The stress cone is maintained by a spring mechanical device at the contact interface between it and the inner wall of the epoxy sheath, overcoming the elastic relaxation of the stress cone due to material aging to ensure long-term and operation of the terminal after installation.
l The cable is isolated from the equipment cable compartment by epoxy sleeve, which avoids the need to open the cable compartment on-site for installation or maintenance operation and reduces much handling of insulating oil and gas.
l The cable terminals can be connected to the equipment horizontally, vertically or at any angle, without being interfered in by the cable and the equipment.
l An optional live indicator is used to determine line operation status.
