Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of Chinese traditional festivals, and a good day for migrants to return, household to meet together, and everyone to enjoy a harmonious and happy moment. The Mid-Autumn Festival was started in the beginning of Tang Dynasty and got popular in Song Dynasty. On the Mid-Autumn Festival (also known as a number of other similar names), the full moon represents reunion of people. On the night of the festival, people look up at the bright full moon in the sky, missing their family members who are absent, and looking forward to reunion of the family.

     Today is also Teachers' Day, established to appreciate the worldwide teachers, who have made great contribution to the development of human civilization.

Both Mid-Autumn Festival and Teachers' Day make today special and significant. Therefore, when Mid-Autumn Festival meets Teachers' Day on the same day, we not only look forward to the reunion of families, but also are thankful to the teachers.
